Delaware Valley Veterinary Hospital



This hospital is a full-service hospital serving dogs, cats, and some exotics (birds, pocket pets, and reptiles). We also perform emergency care during off-hours. The student will be exposed to all aspects of veterinary care.

Associate Veterinarians and special expertise available

The four doctors associated with the practice have a combined 35 years experience with routine surgical procedures, advanced orthopedics (bone plates), and most soft-tissue procedcures. We perform endoscopy procedures, and we have a certified ultrasonographer on staff. Dr. Steven D. Milden is the Clinical Supervisor of the elective.

The responsibilities of the student will be based on their ability. The student will perform initial exams, routine procedures, and case progress exams under the supervision of the attending veterinarian. They will also be expected to be present during rounds on their cases.

Student Supervision

As a multi-doctor facility with 24 hour emergency coverage on-site, the student will have access to a licensed veterinarian 24/7.
