We are a broiler primary breeder company where the intern will be able to gain a number of experiences that will involve the health, clinical, welfare and husbandry practices. They will have direct exposure to gain hands on experience with vaccination, medication, nutrition, feed milling, laboratory and poultry management. They will be able to experience a variety of types of poultry industry areas, ie. broiler growth, pullet rearing, breeders, GP/GGP, and pedigree sectors of the business.

The intern will be able to work in a number of experiences that will involve the health, clinical, welfare and husbandry practices. They will be able to be involved in feed milling personnel, vaccination crews, medication of flocks, nutrition evaluation, laboratory functions and direct poultry management. This will inable them to experience a wide variety of different classes of the poultry industry, ie. broiler growth, pullet rearing, breeders, GP/GGP, and pedigree sectors of the business.

Company corporate Laboratory, State of the art feed mill, Pedigree and great-grand parent production facilities, close proximity and relationship to the University of Arkansas Poultry Center of Excellence, corporate headquarters of 3 large broiler operations and 1 turkey operation, Uof A Diagnostic Lab, as well as a large number of poultry veterinary experts. Our companie employs 8 veterinarians of the several hundred people and 6 of the 8 are diplomates of the American College of Poultry Veterinarians.

They will be working directly with poultry production in a number of poultry class levels. Attending and interacting with feed milling and laboratory activities, interacting in pedigree development, and participating in bird health activities including vaccination, medication and population management.
