Small animal AAHA accredited general practice & canine rehabilitation. Emphasis on wellness & prevention, breed-specific wellness, client education.
Students learn the basics of our client education program and get to practice using the materials. They also participate in our training program (published by AAHA Press under the name How We Do Things Here). We will also be using the AAHA/VetPartners Mentorship Toolkit and skills lists. Surgery, rehab & dentistry experience depends on what happens to come in during the time the student is here. We also let students do as much as they can in the way of blood draws, catheter placement, x-ray positioning, etc.
