Diagnostic imaging
The
extern will review radiographic teaching files, observe in-house
ultrasound and CT exams, and be instructed in basic abdominal
ultrasound. When time permits, the extern will be able to ultrasound
abnormalities found in patients.
We have board certified specialists in surgery, internal medicine/oncology/cardiology, and emergency/critical care.
We have internet access, textbooks, and teaching files.
Participation in morning clinical rounds and weekly imaging rounds, as well as that described above in description experience.
Minimum
10 hours a day, 4 days a week with boarded radiologist (Jean K
Reichle); additional day with diagnostic imaging intern and other
hospital specialists.
No. Extern must find own housing.
