American Society of Laboratory Animal Practitioners (ASLAP)
Welcome to the student chapter of the American Society of Laboratory Animal Practitioners (ASLAP) at The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine.
To foster educational activities in the veterinary specialty of Laboratory Animal Medicine and to familiarize the members with standards and regulations pertaining to this discipline.

ASLAP holds at least one meeting and one wet lab each quarter. Meetings are open to all students, faculty, and staff members. Past wet labs have included rodent handling and techniques; rabbit handling and techniques; touring an OSU aquaculture facility; mouse necropsies; and mouse behavior phenotyping.
Dues are $15 annually and include student membership in the national ASLAP organization (regularly $10) Alternatively, members can pay $25 for dues and receive an ASLAP T-shirt (regularly $15). Please download and complete both the student chapter membership and national membership forms and return them to any of the officers mentioned above.
