Veterinary student recognized by Ohio State Board of Trustees

The Ohio State University Board of Trustees recognized Caitlin Pohlit, a 4th year veterinary student, with a 2014 Student RecognitionCaitlin Pohlit Award.

"My time spent here thus far has been full of triumph, heartbreak, angst, and happiness," said Caitlin during the presentation. "But it is undoubtedly the educational and life-learning experiences I have had here that have transformed those array of emotions into a pleasant blend."

At this present time, Caitlin is an executive board member of SAVMA, maintaining a two-year term as secretary. She has attended numerous conferences, symposia, and conventions and helped oversee the Faculty Advisor and Student Leadership Conference at AVMA Headquarters the last two years. When she isn’t busy on the clinic floor, she spends time playing with her yellow lab Paisley and hanging out with friends.

Her exemplary service and remarkable skills make her an excellent asset to the college and to the veterinary profession as a whole.
