  • Scholastic achievement
  • Interest in the Subject (as judged by electives taken, attendance and option seminars, rounds, etc.)
  • Enthusiasm for the subject
  • Professionalism (integrity, performance, appearance, cooperation with the team)
  • Communication skills with colleagues and clients
  • Knowledge of the subject
  • Surgical and technical skill
  • Ability to manage patients
  • Additional criteria applicable to a particular discipline may be included by the selection committee.
