Seminar - Opportunities & Challenges in Global Rabies Prevention and Control

Dr. Charles Rupprecht, the former Chief of the Rabies Program in hte Poxvirus and Rabies Branch, Division of High-Consequence Pathogens and Pathology, National Center for Emerging and Zoonotic Infectious Diseases, at the Center for Disease Control and Prevention, will be presenting a seminar as a guest of the CVM Global Health Program. Dr. Rupprecht is currently the Director of LYSSA, LLC, an independent biomedical consulting entity.  His career interests focus on zoonoses, emerging infectious diseases, and relevant holistic biomedical responses to global health problems in a One Health context.

The seminar will take place in the Veterinary Medical Center Auditorium, 601 Vernon L. Tharp Street.
