Dr. Cheryl London highlights cancer research in dogs and its relevance to children
WOSU-TV and the Big Ten Network are hosting O-H-I-O, Ohio State University programs, highlighting issues in and around Ohio. Tuesday, June 29, 2010 will be the debut airing of O-H-I-O 106.
Vet community is asked for support
On Thursday, June 17, Shawna Abrams, a 4th year veterinary student, lost her home and everything in it to a fire. Fortunately, she, her husband, and their 6-month-old baby, David, are safe. However, they have no clothes, baby clothes, crib, etc. Dr. Jennifer Brandt, assistant director in the office of student affairs, is talking with Shawna to develop a list of additional needed items, and for now the most urgent need is for the following:
Dr. Christopher Adin, assistant professor of Small Animal Surgery in the Ohio State University Department of Veterinary Clinical Sciences, was recently selected by the Center for Clinical and Translational Science (CCTS) for a KL2 Scholar Career Development award. Highly competitive, the award is funded by the NIH Clinical and Translational Science Award to The Ohio State University.

Changes to traffic flows in and around the college
The second phase of the State Route 315 construction project is scheduled to begin the day after Spring Commencement, June 14 and run through early September. During this time, traffic will be shifted to the northbound lanes so that construction crews can work on the eight bridges and three miles of highway in the southbound lanes between I-670 and Ackerman Road.
