Participated in International Equine Laminitis Meetings
Columbus, OH - Equine experts and laminitis researchers from The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine participated in two laminitis research meetings/workshops, where participants shared current research rand treatments, and envisioned finding a cure by 2020.

Veterinary students celebrated the completion of their third year of classroom learning at the "White Coat Ceremony," a formal ceremony signifying their entry in to the clinical portion of the DVM program, during which they received their white lab coats. The 2010 event was held at the Columbus Athenaeum, on March 27.

Pink week activities being planned now
A College of Veterinary Medicine team has been formed for the Komen for the Cure walk/race scheduled for Saturday, May 15. The deadline to register online for the College of Veterinary Medicine team is April 23. To register, go to: www.komencolumbus.org and click on the "register today" button and the "join a team" button. The team name is "OSU College of Veterinary Medicine". No password is needed to register for the team. Usually about half of the team runs each year and the rest walk.
