International Leukemia Meeting at Comprehensive Cancer Center

The College of Veterinary Medicine will host a symposium on "Comparative Models of Leukemia and Lymphoma" October 14, 2009 in the Veterinary Medical Center Auditorium. This full day conference will provide education and awareness on comparative pre-clinical models of leukemia and lymphoma from a distinguished group of internationally renowned presenters made up of research scientists, veterinarians, and physicians.

College mourns the loss of outstanding teacher

Dr. Clifton MonahanDr. Cliff Monahan, clinical assistant professor in the Department of Veterinary Preventive Medicine, passed away at his home yesterday, September 15. He taught parasitology to veterinary students and graduate students in the College of Veterinary Medicine for more than 12 years, and was one of the first faculty members to incorporate "clicker" technology in the classroom to ascertain student learning.
