Marysville Large Animal Clinic featured on "Our Ohio" TV show

Television segment "Vet Students in the Real World" will re-air this weekend on PBS stations throughout Ohio. The 12-minute piece, which first aired in 2013 thanks to Our Ohio, tells the story of several veterinary students' experiences studying at Marysville's Ohio State Large Animal Services.

Every vet student at Ohio State is required to spend two weeks at the Marysville location in order to get some rigorous, hands-on preparation for their career. In addition to studying for an exam they must pass to get credit for the two-week rotation, students must apply their veterinary medical knowledge by treating live animals under the guidance of Dr. Bimbo Welker, director of OSU - Marysville.
