Dr. Hoet teaching about One Health in Ethiopia

Associate Professor and Director of Ohio State’s Veterinary Public Health Program Armando Hoet is currently in Gondar, Ethiopia, also known as the Camelot of Africa. On his second day in Gondar, Dr. Hoet wrote in his blog that he would have 25 to 30 faculty to teach about International Trade and Public Health, which is another name for Introduction to Risk Analysis. You can follow his blog as he teaches in Ethiopia for Ohio State’s One Health program here.

The One Health initiative explores efforts to address the links between animal health, human health and our environment. The American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA) is a supporter of One Health initiatives, and the College of Veterinary Medicine is a partner in the Ohio State One Health Ethiopia project.
