All interested are invited to attend
Danilo Perrotti, MD, PhD, Associate Professor of Molecular, Virology, Immunology and Medical Genetics in the Human Cancer Genetics Program at the College of Medicine will present, "Reactivating a tomor suppressor to kill leukemia-initiating and-propagating cells"
Dr. Perrotti’s research is aimed at assessing the molecular mechanisms leading to leukemia transformation of hematopoietic cells. Specific areas of interest are: Role of RNA binding proteins in blastic transformation of Chronic Myelogenous Leukemia; Signal transduction in Leukemia; Mechanisms regulating expression and activity of oncogenic kinases.
