Santiago Bas successfully passed his final oral exam and defended his PhD dissertation on “Improving Reproductive Performance through the Development of a Dairy Herd Index, Intrauterine Hormone Delivery or Insemination Technique in Lactating Cows”.
Basavaraj Binjawadagi took first place in the graduate student competition during the Conference of Research Workers of Animal Diseases (CRWAD) meeting. The topic of his oral presentation was, “Nanoparticle based inactivated adjuvanted porcine reproductive and respiratory syndrome virus vaccine elicits superior cross protective immunity”.
Feifei Wang, mentored by Dr. Li Wu in the Department of Veterinary Biosciences, and Joany van Balen, mentored by Dr. Armando Hoet in the Department of Veterinary Preventive Medicine, passed their candidacy exams.
