Celebrate Laboratory Professionals
The College of Veterinary Medicine joins the American Society for Clinical Pathology in celebrating the 36th annual National Medical Laboratory Professionals Week, April 24-30, 2011 recognizing the work of all laboratory research support services personnel in the CVM.
National Medical Laboratory Professionals Week (NMLPW) recognizes the work of the medical laboratory scientists who perform the tests that influence more than 70 percent of the medical decisions our veterinarians make as well as helping to provide the data required by our veterinary scientists for research progress. With public demand for the assurance of quality health care growing, these team members play an important role in the diagnosis and prevention of disease. The CVM wishes to recognize and thank all lab technicians, managers, research assistants, support staff and shared resources support staff for their continued contributions to our success.
NMLPW is sponsored by the American Society for Clinical Pathology and is celebrated the last full week of April each year.
