Dropbox submissions can be automatically graded when a student submits a file to the Dropbox. The Grade Item and Out Of fields relate to the automatic grading of a Dropbox submission. Note: Typically you would not want to automatically grade the Dropbox submission until you have had a chance to look at the information submitted. Assigning a "Grade Item" and "Out Of" score to the Dropbox will automatically give the student the the "Out Of" total for anything submitted to the Dropbox. It is better to not automatically grade a Dropbox submission and enter a grade directly to the Grade Book after the submission has been reviewed. For the purpose of this lesson we will not assign an automatic Grade Item or Out Of score to this Dropbox folder. |

This is beneficial if students will be assigned to multiple groups for submission of group work. For the purpose of this lesson we will create an additional group dropbox folder.
