The Carmen Groups is a tool which will allow faculty to segregate students within a course based on some pre-determined set of criteria. Few courses within the college utilize Groups however, this is a powerful tool which will allow categorization of students for group work, projects and other assignments where students need to work together and have separate spaces within the Carmen course shell to be able to communicate with their group members.
The Groups tool is one of the tools that is available in all course shells in Carmen. If used correctly it can be a valuable asset to your course.
