:Quick Homepages

This is a typical Carmen course shell showing the default tools available to faculty and students. This view is instructor view. Note the Edit Course link at the top right of the tool bar. This is where, as an instructor, you will make most of your modifications to your Carmen course including creating custom Homepages. Students do not see the Edit Course link when accessing their Carmen courses.

To create, view and edit widgets you will use the Edit Course link on the right of the course navigation bar. You will also want to make sure your 'role' in the course is set to the default of Instructor. This can be changed at the bottom left of the Carmen Course Homepage.
Once you are ready to begin creating a new widget, click the Edit Course link.
