On the Manage Homepages screen you are able to navigate to other Course Admin Tools from the quick links on the left of the screen.

If you have more than one homepage available in the course you can also sort the listing of homepages alphabetically by clicking on the Name link. You are able to sort the homepage listing ascending () or descending ().

From the Manage Homepages screen you can see the Active Homepage as well as any other homepages available for use in the course. In addition you are able to view available homepages by clicking the Preview () icon, or copy existing homepages to create new homepages by clicking the Copy () icon.

Note: Utilizing custom homepages that differ significantly from homepages for other Carmen courses may be confusing to students. Therefore it is best to keep some elements constant on all homepages by copying the existing DEFAULT Course Homepage when creating a new homepage.

For the purpose of this lesson we will simplify the process of creating a new homepage by copying the existing DEFAULT Course Homepage.

Click the Copy () icon to begin creating a new homepage.

You will be asked to confirm that you want to make a copy of the default course homepage.

Click Copy () to proceed.

You should now see your new homepage listed as Copy of DEFAULT Course Homepage in the Homepages section of the screen.

Before we set which homepage we will use as the course homepage students will see we need to make edits to the newly copied DEFAULT Course Homepage.

Click the Copy of DEFAULT Course Homepage link to proceed.
