The White Coat Ceremony

Friends and family come together each spring to celebrate student achievement.

The white coat is a symbol of the knowledge our students have gained during their first three years of veterinary education. They have chosen to dedicate their lives to veterinary medicine and will go on to become leaders in their communities. The day they receive their white coat is a crucial step in their professional journey.

You can help them continue that journey...

By sponsoring a white coat, you confirm the continuity of excellence shared by all graduates of the Ohio State College of Veterinary Medicine. Your gift to the Class of 2018 has an impact on their future, tying past and present together as you support students who share your commitment to a better future for animals and people.

We hope that you will take this time to remember when your own journey began. By sponsoring a white coat, you can make a difference in the life of a student today who will make a difference tomorrow.

Send a personal message to a class of 2018 student as he or she receives the white coat by filling out the attached advice card that will be inserted into the coat pocket. Please mail this along with the giving form to:
