    Dr. Sandra Tanenbaum presents “Protecting Health Care for People with Disabilities: A Roadmap of Sites of Policy Change.” This workshop will familiarize attendees with the policies that provide health care coverage for people with disabilities, these policies’ histories and logics, and current proposals to weaken or eliminate access to care. Topics will include the Affordable Care Act, Medicare and Medicaid.

    On Saturday (4/1), Run Down the Demons, a nonprofit, will host a 5K Obstacle Run & Walk to raise awareness about mental health issues that veterans and their families face, such as suicide and PTSD. Co-sponsored by the College of Social Work, the 5K begins at 10 a.m. at Ohio State's Remembrance Park with participants taking on a mentally and physically challenging course, similar to the "unknowns" associated with PTSD.
