Making history, quietly
The College of Veterinary Medicine and Dr. Mary Jo Burkhard were featured in two pages of The Women's Place 2016 Status Report for their commitment to creating a community of inclusion.  
Drs. Mary Jo Burkhard and Linda Saif represented the College of Veterinary Medicne at the College of Food, Agricultural, and Environmental Sciences (CFAES) Gender Initiative Symposium on Tuesday February 16th. 
Scott Lissner, Ohio State’s ADA coordinator, talks about how the Americans with Disabilities Act changed the lives of a legally shunned minority. What used to be applied merely to folks in wheelchairs or who were blind, the ADA has become a civil rights law with even broader protections.
Diversity is about quantity. Inclusion is about quality.
