Our Services

The pharmacy at the Veterinary Teaching Hospital at Ohio State fills prescriptions for clients of the hospital. We fill inpatient and outpatient orders for all companion (small), farm and equine animal patients of the hospital.

Office hours: 8am – 8pm Monday – Friday; 8am – noon Saturday
Closed Sunday and University-observed holidays

What to Expect

The pharmacy is very busy, so prescriptions are filled in the order that they are received, with priority given to emergency requests. Refills for most medications should be called in at least one business day before pickup. If the medication has no refills, needs to be compounded or must be ordered, the request should be made several days before the medication is needed.
