American Society of Laboratory Animal Practitioners (ASLAP)

Welcome to the student chapter of ASLAP at The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine.

Purpose

To foster educational activities in the veterinary specialty of Laboratory Animal Medicine and to familiarize the members with standards and regulations pertaining to this discipline.

Meetings

ASLAP holds a minimum of one lunch meeting and one wetlab per quarter. Other events include field trips, facility tours, and guest speakers.

Dues

Dues paid directly to the student chapter are currently not required for membership. However, the student chapter requests that all members join the national ASLAP organization. Dues are $10 annually and include a subscription to the quarterly ASLAP newsletter, Laboratory Animal Practitioner.
